About the Patriot

I've been interested in many things in my life.  From current events and politics to new craft brews coming out to motorcycles, my interests vary pretty widely.  And one thing about me has never changed-I've always been opinionated.  This whole site, and all it's content, derive from me scribbling notes and thoughts down on notebook and in random note apps on my phone.  I started doing that in college, and I've just continued doing so as time has gone by.

I started to realize that writing helped me think, and I enjoy this medium of communication.  Hopefully you'll enjoy what you read and see here.  I don't expect everyone, or maybe anyone to agree with me.  That's not the point of this.  The point of this is to get people thinking; to view things in a different way.  And to look at the world through an honest lense at how things are instead of through rosey glasses at how we want them to be.
