This episode came together fast, and it came together hard. Joe Biden and, if Deuce is right the one controlling the chip in his brain being Kamala Harris, held a presser about how they were planning on stepping on the 2nd Amendment. Between Straw Man arguments, red herrings and emotional appeals we could have gone for longer than we did. These sources matter; look at them and understand them, because truth and facts are the key to winning this battle.

We pulled the audio of Biden off CSPAN, for anyone that wants to watch the footage. https://www.c-span.org/video/?510636-1/president-biden-calls-gun-violence-epidemic-announces-executive-actions

Here’s some of the definitions we used:

  1. Epidemic (as defined by the CDC)--refers to an increase, often sudden, in the number of cases of a diseaseabove what is normally expected in that population in that area. https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dsepd/ss1978/lesson1/section11.html

  2. Endemic (as defined by the CDC)--refers to the constant presence and/or usual prevalence of a disease or infectious agent in a population within a geographic area. https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dsepd/ss1978/lesson1/section11.html

We also discussed the ghost gun argument, and Biden‘s need to legislate by fiat:

A couple pieces for your viewing horror regarding Fast and furious

In case you’re curious as to where to start running the math on total impact numbers:

A bit of information about David Chipman, some of it BY David Chipman:

A quick re-hash of an old loophole piece:

Wanna know about the Assault Weapons Ban (AWB)? Here you go. Spoiler Alert: It didn’t work.

What about gun manufacturer liability? This goes double for you folks that think social media should have Section 203 exemptions:

There’s a lot more to this, so find your own sources too (just make sure they’re legit). This is an important conversation, and we’re not done just yet. We have some other stuff to hit first, but we’re not going to back off.

I'm a firm believer in the First Amendment.  I also have a severe dislike of keyboard warriors that like posting things just because it makes them feel big.  I don't do a comment section; I want people to have conversations in person and about important things, but not online where the point isn't conversation but seeking an echo chamber.
